New 4 Piston Hydraulic Calipers
Compared to traditional 2 piston systems, the new 4 piston hydraulic calipers provide:

Larger 203mm Brake Rotors
To match the increased braking power, the Series 5 ACE Pro has been upgraded to larger 203mm brake rotors. The increased rotor diameter provides greater leverage, allowing the brakes to deliver stronger, more consistent stopping power while improving heat dissipation on long descents.
New 2.8mm Thick Brake Rotors
The brake rotors have also been increased to 2.8mm thick, making them stronger, more durable and better equipped to handle demanding riding conditions.
