At Ampd Bros, we stand by the quality and performance of every product we sell. That’s why we offer a comprehensive 30-Day Ride Guarantee, giving you confidence from the moment your gear hits the road. This guarantee exists in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.

Eligibility

When Our Policy Applies

You may be eligible for a return, exchange or refund under the following circumstances:

  • The product is unused, still in original condition and packaging
  • The product is significantly different from what was ordered
  • The item has a major manufacturer fault, defect, or failure
  • The item is a helmet or apparel item that does not fit
  • The request is made by the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase
  • The return is requested within 30 days from the date of order

When Our Policy Does Not Apply

Returns, exchanges or refunds will not be accepted under the following conditions:

  • Items are damaged due to misuse, impact, or improper use
  • Items that are damaged or lost during return shipping to us, where Ampd Bros is the recipient
  • Products have been used, show signs of wear, or are not in original condition
  • The item is returned without original packaging and components
  • You’ve simply had a change of mind
  • The issue results from external events (e.g. flooding, fire, acts of God)
  • The issue is a result of misuse, incorrect installation, or unauthorized modification
  • The return request is made after 30 days from the date of purchase
  • The issue is not related to the product’s function or quality

Faults

Serviceable Faults

These are not covered under warranty or eligible for refunds or exchanges, as they are considered part of routine maintenance and wear and tear. These types of issues are expected through regular use and are the owner’s responsibility to maintain.

Examples of serviceable faults include:

  • Chain or gear adjustments
  • Lubrication of moving parts
  • Brake squeals requiring pad alignment or cleaning
  • Bent disc brake rotors
  • Tyre wear, tube punctures, or flat tyres
  • General wear and tear of components over time

Minor Faults

Minor faults are considered genuine manufacturer faults or defects that may affect the function of the product, but can be easily repaired or replaced without the need for a full product return or refund.

Examples of minor faults include:

  • Failed displays
  • Non-functioning motors or controllers
  • Faulty wiring or connectors
  • Failed non-working lights

In these cases, our team will work with you to quickly identify the issue and arrange repair parts or solutions to get you riding again as soon as possible.

Major Faults

Major faults refer to significant manufacturing defects that render the product beyond reasonable repair or pose a serious safety issue. In such cases, the product may be eligible for a refund or replacement under Australian Consumer Law.

These claims are assessed carefully and handled with priority.

Returning Items to Us

If your return is approved, our team will provide return instructions and the correct return address.

Please ensure:

• You include a valid receipt or proof of purchase

• The item is securely and appropriately packaged for return transit

• You do not send returns directly to the manufacturer

Our team may be able to assist in organizing courier collection from your location if required, provided the item is safely boxed. However, Ampd Bros accepts no responsibility for the item during return transit or any packaging required to do so.

Return Shipping Policy

  • Return shipping is 100% the customer’s responsibility. Ampd Bros does not cover or reimburse return freight costs under any circumstances.
  • If you are returning an item valued over $100, we highly recommend using a trackable shipping method and insurance.
  • We will not send out any replacements until the returned product has been received and inspected.

Please Note:

  • Items damaged in return transit due to poor packaging or mishandling will not be eligible for refund or exchange
  • In such cases, the item will be returned to you at your cost
  • Any lost return shipments are not the responsibility of Ampd Bros

Partial Refunds

We reserve the right to decline or offer a partial refund under the following circumstances:

  • The item is not in its original condition, is missing parts, or is damaged (not due to our error)
  • The return request is made after 30 days from the original order date
  • The return reason is unrelated to the product’s performance or quality

Exchanges

Exchanges are only offered if the item is deemed defective or damaged beyond reasonable repair. We do not offer exchanges for change-of-mind or preference-based reasons (e.g. different colour/style).
